Okay, I don't know if you guys know this, but I love supernatural suspense. I love horror flicks. I love Ann Rice. And I also happen to love vampires, werewolves, shape shifters, warlocks withOUT beards, demons, fallen angels (or, as I like to call them, f***ed up angels), and anything else that might one day rid the world of all dumb ass blondes that want to hang out with the controlling Edward Cullen, or want to play house with Jacob Black.

To the ends of the Earth, I can't stand these idiots that babble on about how fucking controversial Twilight is, how novels gain their success only *because of it*. OF COURSE, when authors and TV producers see someone leeching off the wet dreams of teenagers everywhere, they will follow the lead to SELL. Vampires are SELLING. Stephanie Meyer has raked in the cash for it, and now millions of drooling teenagers sit by the TV and watch True Blood (HBO) -which was actually a not-so-terrible book/not great but not Twilight level either- and Vampire Diaries.

But in themselves these are not “omg, tey were coPyyng TWILIGHT!!111” worthy TV shows. Twilight not only was completely two-dimensional, coveting Stephanie Meyers fantasies over the cream-worthy Edward, but was a complete disrespect of women’s views.



Dead Until Dark (or True Blood) wasn’t the greatest book…I actually find it slightly disturbing, but worthwhile in plot. = A telepathic barmaid that falls in love with a vampire trying to fit in with human kind. Vampires sort of become capitalistic merchant-wise; Vampire clubs (LOL at the fang-bangers), hotels, blood/artificial blood. It was an interesting book, one where the couple had sex when they both thought they were ready...not when the boyfriend deemed ready >.>



Vampire Diaries generally got worse in sequels, but was interesting plot-wise. A young girl loses her parents, and tries to hide the affect it made on her (it‘s been a bit since I read this, so forgive me if a few things slip my mind), meanwhile meeting a mysterious figure. In town, attacks are happening and Stephan can’t remember anything from the night they happen. Mostly sibling rivalry until it ends on a cliff-hanger of “…Where’s Waldo?”

And it was all written 14 years before Twilight <.<

I actually like the TV show just as much, if not more so….Especially Ian Somerhalder…I love me some Ian Somerhalder. And Damon, for that matter, for being so damn smug. Gotta love a man that can act XD

So..in essence, Twilight was NOT the first vampire book ever written. You wanna try some real reading, try Ann Rice or Bram Stoker - both before the sparkly creature that has changed your pubescent minds. So fucking there.

Personal updates now in order:

I took Ollie down to the Animal Control. He’s been adopted, so…it’s okay. I’m just…done at this point. I’m getting fucked every way straight, but I’ve got a home…I’ve got my dog, who has just turned five btw ;>. So, I’m okay. I needed some recoup anyhow.

My mom goes in for surgery tomorrow. Long story short, she burst a blood vessel in her eye…more than likely talking to my God-damned father. Which got me pissed beyond belief. But it could have been a detached retna, which could have made my mother blind in one eye - and since she has no ret. fund, would have been SO helpful (cue sarcasm, kiddies). But wish her luck, or pray, or…I dunno. I’ll update on how everything goes.

Thanksgiving might be better though. My sister moved away…somewhere, which is sad because I loved my nieces and nephews (She had a little boy about a week before she moved btw). And my other sister…well, my niece is too fucked up at the moment (Yes, this is the one that OD-ed last year) to see any family…almost got arrested...neither come out except to borrow money, so, what the hell…And my aunt and uncle have their heads up their ass…apparently to busy to walk next door (my grandmother lives next door and always complains of how lonely she is - I’m too busy to visit more than once a week). --So, in summation, it’ll be just me, my mother, my grandmother, and grandfather. In my new house. Alone….wow.

I just got Christmas lights too…I think I might put them up this year.
