...I haven't told anyone the entire story yet and I'm not really sure whether I should. Well, here it goes.

My mother gave me a call a couple weeks ago. Her blood pressure was 201/105. If you don't know about blood pressure (though, admittedly, I don't know much about it myself), this isn't...Well, it isn't good. She called the thursday before last. The doctor wants to hospitalize her. And I'm just...Well, I'm numb because if I'm not numb, I'd be curled up under the covers crying and she...She doesn't need that. In short, my mother's not going into the hospital if she can lower her blood pressure. She's, of course, on beta blockers, but, with her being a diabetic, this all really makes me scared for her.

Anyhow, considering this has nothing remotely to do with my gallery (and the site is called deviantART, not deviantTHERAPIST), I don't want to go on about my other problems.

I haven't heard from my contest winners...which really makes me wanna kill someone. So, if you don't happen to know if you've won, my winners have been featured in this journal for some time - just scroll down and check.

As I said in the contest discription, if the artist could fit Damon into the picture, it would be awesome. I stick by that. But, you did more than that, hun; you captured the characters' personalities in your artwork and the thing really made me look twice, besides your wonderful use of texture and shading, was that it was simple. 'They were free, they were in love; that's that,' was the kind of feeling I got from them. And I sppreciate that.
